We really enjoy neutral colors for home exteriors, but we also want our homes to look unique. Since these two homes are side by side, we went with a monochromatic look by choosing varying colors within the white color family for the siding. For instance, the main exterior at 1329 Chester will be Sherwin Williams Alabaster (SW 7008), while 1401 Chester will be Sherwin Williams Natural Choice (SW 7011). Both of these paints are offered in Sherwin Williams' "Warmer Whites" collection, and we think that's a pretty good way to describe them. To give this monochromatic scheme a pop, we’re giving each home its own unique accent color to help them stand out. At 1329, we’re using Sherwin Williams Grays Harbor (SW 6236), and we’ll use Sherwin Williams Dried Thyme (SW 6186) at 1401. The gray and green accent colors will help to balance the monochromatic scheme without making the homes too bold or look out of place. Their sleek look should surely grab your attention from the curb!
We’ll update this blog with pictures of the homes when they’re completely finished, but for now you can see the color palette in the swatches below. Let us know what you think in the comments section!
